Giveaway Part 3 {Fancy a $100 Myer gift card?}
You know I love fashion right? right? And if you frequent here on a Sunday, you can usually catch me linking up with Ms Fancy Pants herself in our quest to make an effort with Fashion at least once a week!
yeah well, I was a little stuck as to how I'd tie in my love of fashion in my Bloggy Birthday Giveaway Extraveganza....
Pondering out loud can sometimes have benefits... Sponsered by my lovely husbands business, he is providing one lucky ready with a $100 Myer Gift Card.
Yep! $100 bucks, just like that! What would spend it on? Shoes, coat, jeans, fancy bra!
Whatever. You. Like!
Ok - how to enter...
simple....
Tell me your favourite colour you love to wear and why? And I will not accept "Black coz it makes me look skinny"! I'm loving wearing navy, and grey at the moment. So wintery and not the traditional Melbourne Black!
Please follow my blog if you don't already and ensure that I have a way of contacting you!
Australian Residents Only! Comment away!
For extra entries, just spread the word (twitter, facebook, blog about it - shout it out in the middle of the street - anything really! Just come back and let me know - one entry for each extra!)
ps - last giveaway tomorrow - so be sure to come back and if you haven't already, go here and here for my other great giveaways!

ReplyDeleteNice one hubby!!
ReplyDeleteI would get lingerie! Nice stuff. What a treat!
x
Hi Brenda, I have just shared on FB. Also had a look at Lou's website looks great you didn't tell me he was doing work in Wonthaggi!
ReplyDeletePS - I edited my post today in friendship, Bren. x
ReplyDeletenaturally i love black but have enjoyed adding a splash of red this winter, its a colour that when i look down at it it makes me smile & feel happy, its also away of adding girliness to my winter blacks without being pink!! So my answer is 'a splash of red as it makes me smile & feel good'....:)
ReplyDeleteHey hey, what a cool hubby! Brownie points there. haha.
ReplyDeleteFirst up I love your outfit... the top is perfect!
I love to wear purple and red together.. they're two of my favourite colours and I feel like it's such a bold combo compared to my usual co-ordinated and perhaps safe (?) colours in my wardrobe.
xo
my fav colour to wear at the moment in this chilly melb weather is a 'splash of red' typically i like wearing black but the splash of red makes me smile when i look down at it and feel 'girly' in an adult way rather than a childish pink xx
ReplyDeleteI love wearing grey and pink together...and I love putting it on my girls too (Sometimes we do look a little matching...but not in a weird way :) I think the softness of the pink makes grey such a deep & elegant colour. Nice winter outfit by the way!
ReplyDeleteFantastic giveaway week - thanks!! I wear lots of blue - matches my eyes. How corny does that sound... It's true though!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing red - and often a shiny bold red (or possibly a slightly deeper burgundy in honour of that much needed glass of an evening) but either way - something other than a white with blue/pale pink/pale grey striped shirt that is standard for my indtustry!
ReplyDeleteI'm a lifelong navy girl myself, Brenda. I feel fabulous when I'm in it, especially paired with classic white or punchy green. J x
ReplyDeleteI have no idea because I've never really had to think about it.
ReplyDeleteHowever, upon reflection, I wear a lot of navy blue, because I think the deep hue of the blue reflects the often deep and occasionally dark, brooding personality lurking beneath my otherwise shiny and chirpy veneer.
Still waters run deep; the ocean is at its deepest and most peaceful when the water shows its richest colour - a deep blue...
I love blue, electric blue it makes my eyes sparkle and gets me a couple of compliments too which is always nice when you are always sleep deprived!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving a a grey cardi with jeans and a brightly coloured top at the moment, grey works with so many colours!
ReplyDeleteI'm also loving navy - dark, inky navy. It goes with black it goes with tan, it goes with so many other bright colours. I'd defo buy shoes, cus I can't sew them.
ReplyDeleteI always love blue - I have this whole story I could tell about when I used to go out at uni I only had one outfit I used to wear and these drunk boys that we'd see every week started calling me "The Blue Girl" - but I wont tell that cause, you know, who cares! :-)
ReplyDeleteBtw - I think I'd buy a new handbag! Maybe in blue?!
Just came over from Maxabella's blog.... great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing red (and I'm from Melbourne so I should say black - but it really doesn't suit me much) - I love its brightness and boldness and general cheery nature :)
Yay, thanks for the tip, i'm here to enter!! Oh i love blue, always have, always will, i'm a blue girl to the core (like my blue eyes, blue eyed husband & matching 4 blue eyed children) we all rock the blue. Even better, blue stripes!! Thanks Mr Brenda for the giveaway, love Posie
ReplyDeleteI'm loving sky blue and brown at present. Together, apart, whatever.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your boots!
Oh and I tweeted! :-)
ReplyDeleteI prefer browns over black, but my fav colour to wear is usually a green. I always get compliments when i wear this colour.
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit.
ReplyDeleteMaroon.
ReplyDeleteI know, I know, that sounds rank.
It was my school uniform colour for years and I always swore I would NEVER wear it out of choice.
And then I realised it makes my skin look glowing and gorgeous 0 it must be one of my colours that suits my skin tone or something.
And I am so vain I now buy and wear and love maroon again...
xx
PS I just shared on Farcebook too...
ReplyDeleteI'm actually enjoying wearing earthy colours lately - greens, browns, some reds and oranges - anything that makes me look like part of nature, for blending purposes of course. Because, of course I live in a suburb with very little nature. So, I try to wear it..!
ReplyDeleteI shared on FB!
ReplyDelete....and tweeted!
ReplyDeleteI just love navy blue but have found myself wearing much more brown and green recently - perhaps my tastes are changing as I'm aging!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm Brenda this is like the best giveaway series EVER! I am deperate for some clothes. Everytime I get to the shopping center I end up buying for the kids... it just seems to be easier. Would love a chance to spoil myself. Colours...? I am loving white at the moment- because we are traveling in Canada and it's so hot here.
ReplyDeleteoh how lovely, you are having such a marvelous give away week!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute fave at the moment is navy - navy with a bit of green or grey or pale pink. I never wear black, but then again, I am not from Melbourne!
I'm starting to love navy as well. I've always been into the browns though.
ReplyDelete(mary@schwef.com.au)
Oh please count me in ... I am loving that Olive green colour at the moment - people always say it brings out the green in my eyes and thats gotta be good right?
ReplyDeleteI have my fingers crossed!
More lovely giveaways.. somehow i missed them earlier!
ReplyDeleteI am loving grey and navy too, good winter colours! x
Is there ever a day that you don't look amazingly fabulous? Loving that combination of colours, and yes, far more interesting than Melbourne blacks!
ReplyDeleteI'm always into anything earthy, but am trying (really I am) to wear more colour. Lately, metals with reds, oh and browns. (Can't help myself)!
xx
ooohhh, your Mr is fabulous!! I agree with Kymmie, do you ever NOT look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI am going to say black...hmmm, but really, earthy dark colours are my favourite. i.e, you would never see me in hot pink.
♥
I love a bit of white and grey marle - yes boring I know but that is what I like!
ReplyDeleteOh and you always look gorgeous, maybe you could come and help me spend it if I win?
I've redicovered jeans this winter after not wearing them for many years after moving to Brisbane from Melbourne. So I'm wearing jeans with pink on top most of the time. And if I won? Shoes. Probably pink!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure your man is!! I'd take it as a sneak peak to the actual spoiling you're going to get on your birthday!! I love grey...and black...and navy...well most colours actually although orange and I have never been particularly close. What a brilliant series of giveaways lovely girl. Ta very muchly :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI love to wear a splash of colour admist black....well in Winter anyway...In Summer I tend to wear a lot of white & fresh colours. How great to be able to giveaway this prize - wow. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYay for your husband's company!
ReplyDeleteI love to wear red - my mum always told me it suited me and for many years I resisted - but I think she might be right - it always makes me feel happy and bright.
Thanks for the giveaway. And happy birthday to you!
I'm a navy girl. My mother always said it was so much more flattering than black... and while I rebelled during my uni days, now that I'm, um, 40, I actually agree with her! Thanks for including me in your lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeletehi brenda, inspired by a bit of colour blocking I blogged about your giveaway this morning. I am thinking that yes, a splurge of colour might save me from my love of top to toe navy...
ReplyDeleteOh my oh my so generous - apple green for me.
ReplyDeleteOlive green because it compliments my eyes and dark hair... So I've been told!
ReplyDeletehey spunk, pick me pick me xx
ReplyDeleteI love to wear green and purple, sometimes together sometimes not. I have a fabulous Apple Green Esprit trench coat I got from my local Op Shop and I just love it. I like to wear it when i ride my bike around town, which is Purple!
