seven
seven.
wow.
Feels so much more grown up. And really you are. No longer the newbie at school, your take on the world has evolved so much. With such a sweet personality, people are drawn to you, they like you instantly and whilst a shy nature takes some getting used, when you warm to someone, you really steal a little piece of their heart.
Caring, considerate and kind. Older brother, first born. Early riser (always!) and affectionate to those you love. Happy in your own company, inventive and imaginative. Pizza, pasta and hommus with carrot sticks...favourite foods to please. Strategic, mathematical and analytical. Your memory is astounding. I gaze at you in your slumber often thinking, what will you become?
For now, lets just enjoy Seven. After all it's my favourite number.
Happy Birthday
xx

I'm grateful for.....{silence and laughter}
The rain has stopped momentarily here in Melbourne - it's been crazy, windy, rainy weather... and as my family enjoy a quiet inside day, I sit and ponder what I'm grateful for this week.
Joining in with the Queen Bee of grateful (Maxabella Loves) as we all congregate at her place of worship to share our grateful-ness....
This week I'm grateful for....
1. Silence - as I came home from work in the wee wee hours of the morning to a still, dark house - my loved ones tucked safely in bed, I routinely check on them, stroke their hair, kiss them goodnight and savour the silence that falls upon me as I admire them.
2. Chitter-chatter and good gossip - there is nothing like a great conversation and the other night when Hubby and I were tucking into some lovely greek takeaway celebrating this day - we had a great gossip about our lives together thus far. Oh what you can talk about when you look back, and oh how it is nice to dream when you look to the future.
3. Laughter - they say laughter is the best medicine....I don't know who - but whoever said that deserves some sort of prize or a medal....I love a good belly laugh, the one that renders you sometimes silent as the laughter is so strong it can't come out and then the happy tears start to flow - I love hearing my kids laugh and that in turn makes me laugh. laughing is contagious. i'm very grateful for laughter!
What are you grateful for today....please share with us!!

So hard to believe it's been ten years! Time really does fly when you having fun (and in love!)....
You could say it started like this.....
I was a school girl, our meeting by pure chance.....but that instant attraction, that gut retching sensation when I laid eyes on his blue like the sea blue eyes - we fell so deeply....
He proposed only six months after we first meet
Our wedding was lovely, sweet, simple and our promise was forever...
From then we've laughed and cried, made dreams come true and
brought two little magic people into the world....
Happy Ten Year Wedding Anniversary my sweet love....
What a journey this has been...
You are wonderful man, friend and husband.
Loving you is so much fun!
Just a little stitch of love from me to you....

80 years young....
Today it's my Nonna's birthday! She is 80 years young! On Sunday we had a surprise party for her and lots of people came together to celebrate a lifetime of acheivement, amazement, challenges and triumphs.
We danced and sang and had a great time and my cousin even performed a belly dance!
My Nonna holds a dear place in my heart. This photo sits on my dresser in my bedroom. I'm not too sure how old she was at the time but the sapphire cross she is wearing has been passed onto my mother and a while ago it was given to me....and one day I will pass it down to my daughter.
